Colorguard/winter guard
The West Lincoln Colorguard is a vital part of the Marching Band’s entire design package. This group begins its hard work in the late Spring during Rookie Training, and is by audition only. All Colorguard members are a part of the Music Specialization class offered in the Fall Semester. This group works with local dance and guard professionals throughout their season and in class.
The West Lincoln Winterguard (WestGuard) is in its fifth year to our program and meets in the late Fall / early Spring semesters and rehearses totally outside of the school day. Membership is by audition only and requires that you be able to learn and achieve a high level of excellence in dance as well as equipment technique. This group will travel and compete at local, state, regional and national level contests.
