Mr. Brittain is currently in his 10th year of teaching and graduated from Appalachian State University in 2017 with a degree in Instrumental Music Education.
Mr. Brittain was the Director of Bands at North Wilkes Middle School and North Wilkes High School for two years. While there, the bands received numerous awards for achievement, excellence, and growth.
Mr. Brittain currently lives in Lawndale, NC with his wife, Holly, their daughter, Evie, and their dog, Moose.

Mrs. Lowery is currently in her eighth year teaching and fifth year at West Lincoln. She attended Appalachian State University, graduating in 2019 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. Her professional memberships include Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi National Band Fraternity, National Association for Music Education and North Carolina Music Educators Association.
Mrs. Lowery currently resides in Fallston, NC with her husband, Austin, and son, Foster.

Sydney graduated from West Lincoln High School in 2023. During her high school career she was a part of the marching band, concert band, winter guard and winter drumline. She is currently studying biology at Lenoir Rhyne University with the plan of becoming a veteranarian.
